Dr. Hein Kyaw (pronounced as Dr. Haim Jor) is a dedicated GP based in Perth, passionate about delivering thoughtful, down-to-earth care to his patients and supporting the health of his local community.
Before becoming a GP, Dr. Hein worked across a range of departments at Alice Springs Hospital in the Northern Territory, gaining hands-on experience in everything from emergency to chronic care. He later completed his GP training through General Practice Training Tasmania (GPTT), working in rural and remote clinics where he developed a strong foundation in aged care, acute and chronic disease management. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.
Always keen to broaden his skills, Dr. Hein spent time working in urban clinics in Sydney before making Perth home with his young family. He’s especially interested in Child Health, Mental Health, Chronic Disease Management, Aged Care, and Acute Care — but truly enjoys the full scope of general practice.
Outside the clinic, Dr Hein loves spending time with his wife and two young children. He’s also a fan of swimming and table tennis.
Dr. Hein speaks both English and Burmese, and is currently welcoming new patients.
